Me(me) Two

Prometheus, having been tagged by Terra Shield, breaks his silence to post this meme.

  1. What is the best thing about my workplace?
    Prometheus owns it.

  2. What do I hate about my workplace?
It ain't like Microsoft headquarters. Yet.

  3. What small irritants at my workplace really annoys me?
It ain't making money like Microsoft. Yet.

  4. Describe the actions/quirks of the weirdest person I work with (can be a co-worker, employer, or a vendor if you are self employed):
That's classified. Prometheus could tell you, but then he'd have to kill you. Yaargh! Could never resist that pun from Top Gun.

  5. What is one thing that I would change at my workplace to make life a helluva lot better?
    Make it like Microsoft.

  6. Pick five songs that I'd like played at my funeral......
Now really, is this part of the same meme? Or is it a hint that Prometheus would depart this world sooner than he can say 'Microsoft'. But anyways, Prometheus has been meaning to start his own meme (dang the enterpreneur in him) on playlists. Just that Blogger won't allow tables. But here goes Prometheus' playlist. There are more to come, he's always adding more songs. As of the time of this publication, this is his current playlist, sorted by artist, that he'd like to be played at his mummification.

ending with 'Carved upon my stone, my body lie but still I roam' from the last song.

That's five songs. Right.

And Prometheus must, as is the nature of tags, tag five people. He tags all of his friends, whatever their number, will still be termed 'five'. All who read, must comply with this meme, for they will otherwise be come upon by the Curse of the Promethean Sarcophagus.

Long list eh? Genius!

Me, I cracked the poor brains to finally choose five songs, hoping the other songs will not be offended... :(

wow that's one long-ass mummification you have planned, sounds like it will be fun. No live bands?

Don't be like Microsoft, feh. Forge your own path! Make an office environment like no other! I expect no less from the great Prometheus! I'll even bring the cake at your ribbon-cutting ceremony. ;-)

I agree with kartika, that's one heck of a long funeral you seem to be planning. Don't forget to provide the food and drinks, eh?

Diplomacy, Terra, all inclusive diplomacy. You leave some out and they picket outside your office. And thanks for da tag.

Kartik, a Latin-spouting secret agent Greek God Pharaoh mafia boss does deserve full state honors, don't he? And live bands for the dead? Ironic wot?

Lizzie mah friend, not THAT cake, please. Ask Silver Sabre, he'll know to get a nice Fender Stratocaster cake.

What an eclectic mix of songs! I can't figure you out, Prometheus. Your music skews younger and older. You're really more than one person aren't you? That's why you need such a long list of songs at your funeral because they'll not just be burying you, right?

Thanks for tagging me, Prometheus. But I cannot post his meme. I am a sophomore and have no workplace to write about, not even a weekend job. Please don't curse me! :-)

That is one long and not to be miss mummification...

Thanks for playing Jules.

Big H, yer supposed to mourn Prometheus for 40 days and 40 nights. As of the list, thats only about 573 minutes of playing time.

Welcome ZI, and that was almost a poem.

Gemmolina, Prometheus IS more than one person. Us schizos are always plural. And Prometheus' split personae have their own split personae who have their own.. oh ad infinitum.

Es mi placer amó uno

Prometheus said...

Whazzat s'posed ta mean, Jules? Prometheus knows something that sounds like that. "Your place or mine". And Prometheus ain't dat lucky to hear dat anytime this frikkin millennium.

Prometheus said...

Or is he?

9 and a half hours.
will there be comfort breaks?

Anonymous said...

Es mi placer means 'it is my pleasure.' I'll leave 'amo uno' for you to figure out. My knowledge of Spanish is pretty rudimentary but i hope i have got it right.BTW, that was in response to your 'Danke Schoun for playing'.

Prometheus said...

Jules, that should've been "Es Mi Placer, Mi Amor".

Amo uno translates roughly to The One Master. Prometheus may be that, but not for his amour de vie. Zat ees "ze love of my life" een Francais.

Prometheus said...

Oh Amanda, whoever heard of lavatories near dem Pyramids? Guess, ya folks will hafta hold it in.

OOh good list!

I wanted to add Metallica..but only 5 songs...shoulda just added em all hey :)

I don't work. Therefore, I'm not doing this tag.

ROAR.

And ahhh... Layla & Light my Fire and two of the greatest songs EVER.

NOOOOOOOO
Not Rock Me Amadeus!!!!

Falco is great, but that song sucks ass. I came close to tears (of torment) when a friend admitted he loved it. Only because he'd constantly play it in his car.
I stopped hitching rides with him.

Et tu, Prometheus?

And for that reason, I'm never doing this tag.
