It is an unfortunate and insensitive ad placement. We (the U.S.)have much to learn about navigating in a global economy.

Oh, before I forget, the music that is the background for your blog, who is the artist? Great stuff.

Ouch. Is this a real ad, mon ami?

amazingly poor, especially given the percentage of immigrants in the usa.

D8, Prometheus is surprised this ad hasn't caused a furore yet. Saw this on CNET of all the places.

Yups Liz, this ad is as real as your boobies, Prometheus keeps forgetting their names ;-)

enidd, percentage of immigrants? Given that the Pilgrim Daddies were immigrants themselves and there ain't enough Injuns left, the whole Yoo Ess of A is a migrant population.

They are called Elvis. I don't know why they have just one name. Last time I checked, I still had both of them.

Boobies???? And I thought this blog was rated General Patronage.

P.S. WV is fctscy

Liz, Prometheus loves Elvis.

Umm.. yeah, this place is still rated 'G'. But they say good guys finish last and women dig bad boys and whatnot. And pray tell what dost thine divinely evil mind think og fctscy.

Radha, Prometheus feels that not all Americanians would find this not insensitive (triple negation?). He's sure there are at least as many good Americanians like Gemmolina, Driver8, Ian, Bud, Mims and many others as there are bad Americanians like Dell and Dubya.

I think they mean UP YOURS @ the end.

Welcome to this place, kaya. Funny that Dell should do this, when given their pathetic build quality, they have the maximum need for a support call center.

It is sadly racist, yet I can understand the frustration callers were having. When you barely speak the computer language having to deal with a thick accent only makes it more frustrating.

Don't get me started on those Dell Bastards or I'll rant all night!

Tech Support... my arse gives better tech support... and I couldn't give a crap what accent I'm greeted with on the end of the phone as long as they solve the problem... which they didn't. Bastards... and all sorts of other swear words.
